Abbie, I'm touched!! I've always felt so OLD when people ask me what I like to do (outside of outdoor adventures) I can sew well, knit, crochet, cook, bake and all kinds of "housewife" stuff. I don't have many friends that I can share this stuff with, so thank you for doing it long distance with me!
I think the different weights of yarn will make a very textured and cool blanket. A blanket that size will need a lot more yarn than I sent (I think) so what a story you'll have as you collect the colors! I'm loving it already. You're making me want to pick up my hook again, even though I have 20 other projects on my to-do list first. :)
I have a better idea! I sent you an invitation to become an author. I don't know what that means except that then you can write on this blog. I guess you set up your own password and it gets linked to your blog? After/if you accept that, I can limit visibility so that only the authors (the two of us) can view the blog. Then you don't have to email me text and photos! You can show me what you're doing too! : )
